United Earth Starfleet operated the Intrepid-class light cruiser[2] Intrepid NV-01 in the 2150s. (Adventures RPG module: Beta Quadrant Sourcebook)
In the 2160s, the Intrepid NX-07 was an NX class starship that took part in the Earth-Romulan War. (TNG novel: Indistinguishable from Magic)
In the 23rd century, the Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Intrepid (NCC-1631) had an all-Vulcan crew. It was lost in action in the year 2268. (TOS episode: "The Immunity Syndrome")
Active since the 2360s decade, the USS Intrepid (NCC-74600) served as the prototype of the Intrepid-class science vessel. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
Active service[]
Starfleet had commissioned and named this new Intrepid, registry number NCC-79520, by the 2400s.
In the year 2401, Starfleet was infiltrated by evolved Changelings up to the highest level. Commander Ro Laren of Starfleet Intelligence boarded the Intrepid for a rendezvous with the USS Titan-A in Federation space on stardate 78186.03. Ro managed to have most of the Titan personnel beamed to the Intrepid before she was killed by Changeling infiltrators. She piloted her shuttle into the port warp nacelle of the Intrepid to cripple the ship and enable the Titan-A to escape. (PIC episode: "Imposters")

Background[]
A social media post by Dave BlassMA states that this is a DuderstadtMA-class vessel, a new ship type named for Dorothy DuderMA, the late wife of Doug Drexler. Drexler co-designed the ships with Bill Krause. The class specification has not yet been published in any official works, but is likely to be verified in future licensed tie-ins.
