The USS Inwood was a Federation runabout in Starfleet service during the late 24th century, named after a region of Manhattan on the planet Earth.

Service history and disposition

The Inwood was assigned to Space Station Bravo in Sector 221-G in the 2380s decade.

In early 2380, the Inwood departed from the space station with crew replacements for the starship USS Trident, but was forced to turn back due to engine trouble.

In an aternate reality which was averted by Jean-Luc Picard, the Inwood was lost in a spatial rift, shortly after it left the station. (TNG novel: Q & A)
