The USS J.L. Lambert (NCC-6018) was a Decker-class Federation class X destroyer starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. This ship entered active service around reference stardate 2/8202, having been named for the noteworthy member of Starfleet, J.L. Lambert. - Ships of this class are noted to be named for influential figures in Starfleet history. Although there was no person named J.L. Lambert mentioned in any other Star Trek releases, at the time of the FASA RPG was published, there was a Captain J. Lambert mentioned in TNG novel: Indistinguishable from Magic.
