The USS Jefferson was a Federation starship, an Akira-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the 24th century. The Jefferson saw action against the Borg Collective in the late 2370s. (ST video games: Armada, Armada II)

History[]

On stardate 54566.1, the Jefferson was crippled and left derelict in a Borg attack while defending Starbase 176. A task force led by the Enterprise recovered the Jefferson and the other derelict starships and restored them to their former condition. The restored Jefferson helped defend the base against further Borg attacks until the Borg Nexus in the system was destroyed. With the starbase secured, the fleet attacked an incoming Borg convoy and recaptured the USS Douglass from the Borg. (TNG video game: Armada II mission: "Recovery")

No final fate is established for this vessel as its name was, in some cases, randomly selected for an Akira-class vessel by the game software.
