The USS John Kelly (NCC-97944) was a Federation starship in Starfleet service in the early 25th century, at the beginning of the 2400s decade.

Service history and disposition[]

On 12 April 2401, the John Kelly was one of many vessels assembled for Frontier Day, representing the majority of Starfleet, all gathered at the planet Earth in the Sol system in sector 001 of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. When a new maneuvering protocol went live and the Borg Collective initiated their takeover of Starfleet, John Kelly was one of the vessels swallowed up in the resulting chaos. (PIC episode: "Võx")
