The USS Juno (NCC-97450) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Guardian-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - Terran Gambit mission: "Red Shift")

Service history and disposition[]

Jupiter station

Jupiter Station.

In the First Splinter[3] timeline, an Excelsior-class cruiser USS Juno operated in the 2370s. (TNG - A Time to... novel: Be Born)

The 25th century cruiser Juno was a tier 6-rated vessel. In the year 2411, sometime after the Battle of Excalbia on stardate 84999.22[4] in January, the Juno responded to a Terran raid on Jupiter Station led by Marshal Kathryn Janeway and the ISS Voyager.

The Juno suffered heavy damage in the assault but was spared by Janeway so that Starfleet's reinforcements would be tied up with rescuing their people. (STO - Terran Gambit mission: "Red Shift")

USS Juno

The damaged Juno in 2411.

After the Terrans achieved their goal, Captain Sylvia Tilly used the ISS Enterprise-F to tie up the Starfleet and Khitomer Alliance forces defending Jupiter Station. (STO - Terran Gambit mission: "Iuppiter Iratus")

In the aftermath, the Juno was among the ships surviving the Terran assaults but was left without power. A Bolian officer sent a distress call. Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway, who led the relief efforts from USS Voyager, dispatched an Allied ship to transport engineering personnel to the USS Turing first, then the Juno received repair support to become stabilized.

When the nearby USS Akron detonated, the Juno survived the blast. (STO - Terran Gambit mission: "Red Shift")
