The USS Kent (NCC-1725) was a Federation Constitution-class class IX cruiser starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century.

The Kent was built to Mk II (Bonhomme Richard-subclass) specifications and was launched around reference stardate 2/0202. She was later refitted to Mk III (Achernar-subclass) specifications around stardate 2/0501, and later refit to Mk IV (Tikopai-subclass) specifications around stardate 2/1212.
