The USS Kitty Hawk (NCC-1754) was a Federation starship, a Constitution-class cruiser in Starfleet service in the 23rd century.
The Kitty Hawk was commissioned on reference stardate 2/0801 and originally constructed as an Achernar-subclass mark III Constitution-class vessel. The Kitty Hawk was later refitted as a Tikopai-subclass mark IV vessel on stardate 2/1202. The vessel began to undergo reconstruction as an Enterprise-subclass cruiser before finally being recorded as destroyed on stardate 2/2209, with that refit process listed as incomplete. At some point, the Kitty Hawk carried out a routine survey of the planet Hodunk in the Votannis system, and discovered the native Selm, an intelligent ocean-dwelling cetacean race. (FASA RPG - The Orions module: Book of Common Knowledge)
