The USS Los Angeles (NCC-2727) was a Federation starship, a Loknar-class (mark I subclass) frigate in the 23rd century.

Service history and disposition[]

The Los Angeles was named for the Human city of Los Angeles on the planet Earth.

This vessel entered Starfleet service on reference stardate 1/9609, in the 2250s decade. The Los Angeles participated in the Four Years War, and was destroyed in action on stardate 1/9701, in the mid-2250s, only a few months after commissioning.
