The USS Macedonia (ECS-957) was a Federation starship, a neutronic fuel carrier freighter in Earth Cargo Service and Starfleet service in the 2250s decade. In 2257, the ship was assigned to Starbase 1, alongside its Engle-class counterpart USS Macedonia (NCC-1003). (STO - Age of Discovery mission: "Downfall")
Service history[]
In the year 2257, the Macedonia was one of four starships left crippled near Starbase 1 after the space station came under attack from forces of the Klingon Empire, House of D'Ghor and House of Mo'Kai. The station's commander, Admiral Kensington, requested additional Starfleet support.
When the Malachowski-class light cruiser USS Malachowski arrived, Admiral Kensington ordered the relief ship to transport the crews of the four ships aboard. To prevent the Klingons from capturing Starfleet technology and intelligence, Kensington ordered the Malachowski to scuttle the squadron, and the Macedonia was destroyed.
