Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2270, Magnan was assigned to ferry Federation ambassador Carlos Rivera to the Lorealyn system within the Klingon Neutral Zone to negotiate possible Federation membership. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
