In 2262, Khan Noonien Singh and his followers seized several Neutral Zone star systems near the Klingon Empire, forming the Augments faction. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
The Augments hijacked blueprints from the major powers, including those of the Federation Starfleet explorer USS Mayflower II. The Augments named the ship they built USS Mayflower. It flew Augment colors. Joaquin updated the warp nacelle design. The Mayflower was 30% more effective in combat with Klingons. (ST video game: Fleet Command, Ship menu)
Around stardate 2262.45, hijacked Mayflower ships were among the vessels used by the Independent faction in the Neutral Zone. The ship found a berth at the friendly E-class starbase Home Station. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
