For other uses, see McCoy.

The USS McCoy (NX-95600) was a Federation starship, a Destiny-class deep space science vessel/hospital ship in Starfleet's medical service in the 2400s decade. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Starbase 24 (STO)")

The ship may be named after the 23rd century physician doctor Leonard McCoy, who was the chief medical officer aboard the USS Enterprise and the USS Enterprise-A.

Service history[]

In the year 2409, the ship was part of the Starfleet force assigned to protect Starbase 24 from an attacking Klingon fleet. When the starbase was evacuated, a number of scientists from the base were transferred to the McCoy for safe transport out of the system. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Starbase 24 (STO)")
