The USS Monitor (NCC-61826) was a Nebula-class explorer in service in the 24th century.
In 2366, the Monitor was sent to the Romulan Neutral Zone when Starfleet received warnings of Nelvana III's Romulan build-up for a possible battle preparation. The warning was later found to be baseless. (TNG episode: "The Defector"; Decipher RPG module: Starfleet Operations Manual)
In 2374, the Monitor was one of sixteen Federation ships assigned to defend the Setlik system against Cardassian forces during the Dominion War. (SCE eBook: War Stories, Book 1)
