The USS Montgomery Scott (NCC-95792) was a Federation Sentinel-class cruiser in service in the early 25th century. (STO website: The Path to 2409; STO mission: "Report to Gamma Orionis")
History[]
The Scott was named for Captain (ret.) Montgomery Scott, who served as chief engineer of the USS Enterprise and Enterprise-A.
In 2405 the Scott was part of a Starfleet battle group dispatched to the Korvat colony to fend off a Klingon invasion. In this opening battle of the Federation-Klingon War, the vessel was damaged but was later repaired. (STO website: The Path to 2409)
In 2409 the Scott was assigned to Star Fleet Battle Group Omega. (STO mission: "Report to Gamma Orionis")
