The USS Mount Shasta was a Federation starship, a California-class support vessel in Starfleet service. As with most other California-class ships, this vessel was named for a geographic feature of the California region of the planet Earth's North American continent, Mount ShastaWP.

- The Star Trek Infinite game software has each campaign having a certain chance of spawning a California ship named "Mount Shasta" from a list of preselected names. In particular, the Cali-class vessels will only be available to certain pre-order players
