In the Kelvin timeline, the USS Mueller (NCC-1716 and NCC-1475) was a 23rd century Federation starship, an Einstein-class survey vessel in Starfleet service in the 2250s decade. Its commanding officer was a Human captain. (TOS - Legacy of Spock comic: "Part 1")

Service history[]

Mueller docked

The Mueller docked at Starbase 1 in 2258.

By the late 2250s, a Human captain served as commanding officer of a multi-species crew. She opted to wear trousers and a long-sleeved Starfleet uniform.

Following the Destruction of Vulcan and the commencement of the Vulcan search for a new Vulcan homeworld, the Mueller offered Ambassador Spock to ferry him to the rendezvous with the Vulcan fleet.

Spock accepted the offer and boarded a military shuttle that brought him from Earth to Starbase 1, where the Mueller was docked. The captain welcomed Spock with a Vulcan salute, and the diplomat encountered other members of the ship's diverse crew.

The Mueller travelled to the Mutara sector to meet the Vulcan fleet, parked above the class D planetoid Regula I. A military shuttle brought Spock to the Forge of Surak, the Vulcan flagship. Afterwards, the Mueller departed the area, as the Vulcans preferred to be left alone. (TOS comic: "Legacy of Spock, Part 1")
