The USS Murzim (NCC-1838) was a Constitution-class (Tikopai-subclass) Federation heavy cruiser starship ordered for Starfleet service in the 23rd century, named for a bright star of the Canis Major constellation.
Construction of Murzim was authorized by the Starfleet appropriation of stardate 5930. (TOS reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)
- The stardate given would seem to suggest this ship was ordered during the TAS era. It is not even known if this vessel was built, only that it was authorized.
