The USS Nile was a Federation Danube-class runabout in service to Starfleet, assigned to starbase Deep Space 9.
Service history[]
In the year 2376, Ensign Prynn Tenmei was sent from Deep Space 9 to Minos Korva to pick up Lieutenant Ro Laren, Vlu and Taran'atar while Doctor Julian Bashir and Ezri Dax used the USS Rio Grande to travel to Trill. (DS9 - Worlds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel: Trill: Unjoined)
In 2383, the Nile helped in the evacuation of Deep Space 9 when it was threatened with destruction by Typhon Pact sabotage. Lieutenant Aida Selzner was killed aboard the Nile. (ST - The Fall novel: Revelation and Dust)
