The USS Nimitz was a 24th century Federation starship, a Sovereign-class flagship in Starfleet service around the year 2377. (ST video games: Armada, Armada II)

No history or fate is established for this vessel in the Armada games as its name was randomly selected for a flagship vessel by the game software.

This is one of a number of ships to be so named, succeeding the earlier 2360s decade USS Nimitz and followed by another Saber-class USS Nimitz by 2379. (TNG novel: A Rock and a Hard Place, VOY - The Brave and the Bold, Book Two novella: The Third Artifact; TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)
