USS Ning Hai

The USS Ning Hai was a Federation starship, a Galaxy-class command cruiser.

This vessel was named for Ning Hai^WP, a Chinese cruiser aquatic vessel from early 20th century Earth. The name (甯海) means "peaceful seas".

No specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was selected for a cruiser by the game developers, and is placed randomly when the ship appears. Although that video game logic applies to the ship's appearance at various points in the narrative of the game, in the overall continuity of Star Trek a Galaxy-class vessel such as this would only exist after the ship commissioning of this type in the 2360s decade.
