The USS Nobel (NCC-55012) was a Federation starship, an Olympic-class vessel in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. (ST reference: The Star Trek Encyclopedia; DS9 episode: "In the Pale Moonlight")

Service history[]

In the year 2370, the Nobel and the USS Excelsior were assigned to search for the missing USS Hera, under the command of Captain Silva La Forge. (TNG episode: "Interface"; ST reference: The Star Trek Encyclopedia[1])

In 2374 and 2375, the Nobel reported numerous casualties after fighting against the Dominion. (DS9 episodes: "In the Pale Moonlight", "Image in the Sand", "The Siege of AR-558", "What You Leave Behind")[2]

In 2387, the Nobel was assigned to assist in relief efforts after the destruction of Romulus. En route, the crew found an empty Romulan shuttle and the bodies of the Romulan Senate's ruling council along with the body of Praetor Chulan. (ST website : The Path to 2409)
