The USS Nogura was a Federation starship in service to Starfleet in the 24th century, named for Heihachiro Nogura.
Service history and disposition[]
In March of the year 2384, the Nogura, along with the USS Callisto, was the closest Starfleet ship to the Pyrithia star system. Both ships were ordered to Pyrithia IV to seize control of a secret Breen base, its assets and personnel. Security personnel from the Nogura stormed the base with their counterparts from the Callisto and the USS Enterprise-E. (TNG - Cold Equations novel: Silent Weapons)
