The USS Norfolk was a Federation Nova-class scout starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century under the command of Captain Rivellini.
Service history and disposition[]
The Norfolk was patrolling an area at the edge of Federation territory when it spotted the privateer ship Celtic. The Celtic used a subspace pulse to wipe the Norfolk's computer core, leaving it adrift. After two days, the ship was once more operational and the ship entered the Korso Spanse where it found the wreckage of the Celtic as well as the previously missing, presumed destroyed USS Reston which had been assimilated by the Borg and was now reactivated. After it escaped, the Norfolk contacted Starfleet about the reappearance of the Borg. (ST - Seven Deadly Sins novella: Revenant)
