The USS Okuda was a Daedalus-class starship in the Earth Starfleet during the Earth-Romulan War.

In 2157, the Okuda was part of the flotilla that fought at the Battle of Gamma Hydra. Unfortunately, the Okuda was destroyed in combat. (ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)

Background

The Okuda was likely named after either Michael Okuda or his wife Denise, or both. Both are prolific members of the Star Trek art department.
