The USS Pasteur was a Federation starship, a Nebula-class starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. The Pasteur was named for a Human doctor and medical scientist of history, Louis Pasteur.

History[]

This ship was in active service around the year 2377. (ST video game: Armada II)

This USS Pasteur was named after previous vessels—the 23rd century USS Pasteur in service in the 2260s and, in the 24th century, fellow hospital ship M'Benga-class USS Pasteur that entered service on reference stardate 2/8303, and remained active for a couple decades. A successor in the name in multiple timelines was the Olympic-class USS Pasteur, a hospital ship of the 2380s and 2390s. (TOS - Year Four comic: "Issue 6"; FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual; ST website : The Path to 2409; TNG episode, novelization & comic adaptation: All Good Things...)
