The USS Pathfinder was a Federation Constitution-class class I/class XI cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the mid-23rd century.
Service history and disposition[]
The Pathfinder was in the Perseus Arm when it was assaulted by three Klingon D7-class battle cruisers on stardate 2901 in the 2260s, causing damage to the ship's equilibriator. The USS Enterprise arrived and intervened before Pathfinder sustained more serious damage. (TOS comic: "What Fools These Mortals Be..")

Background[]
A USS Pathfinder was mentioned as existing in the early 24th century, in the 2320s decade. With a 50+ year differential, it is not likely this is a reference to this ship, although the possibility does exist.
