Pegasus NCC-612 supplement

The Hermes-class scout Pegasus in the 2260s.

Pegasus was a winged horse from Greek Human mythology on Earth. (TOS novel: Enterprise: The First Adventure)

The registry number NCC-622 of the Oberth-class USS Pegasus was close to the Hermes-class scout's and the same as the USS Pavo's. (TOS reference: Star Fleet Technical Manual)

In the year 2285, the Pegasus went with the USS Enterprise and the USS Grissom to search for rogue Klingons. (ST video game: Encounters)

Also active in the 2280s was the Charger-class destroyer USS Pegasus (NCC-4022). (Stardate Magazine vol. 3, Issue 1: "Federation Charger Class Destroyer")
