Service history[]

After Vulcan-raised Lieutenant Michael Burnham's request to join the Vulcan-only crew of the USS Intrepid was rebuffed, she considered trying again with the Persepolis, whose crew was being assembled in May 2255. (DSC novel: Desperate Hours)

Ultimately, Burnham remained on her current posting, the Human-dominated but racially diverse USS Shenzhou. (DSC episode: "The Vulcan Hello")
