The USS Poseidon (NCC-8472-U) was a fake Starfleet starship built by the Undine, commanded by a Captain Akira Sulu impostor. The Poseidon was armed with antiproton beam arrays and Undine plasma torpedoes.
In 2409, the Poseidon was assigned to the Undine Terradome in the NGC-4447 system. When a genuine Starfleet/Klingon Defense Force task force entered the system, Captain "Sulu" stated it was quarantined and threatened to resort to violence. When the task force failed to comply, the Poseidon attacked. The task force, however, defeated and destroyed the impostor ship and boarded the Undine Terradome. (STO mission: "Terradome")
