The USS Princeton (NCC-59804) was a Niagara-class Federation fast cruiser starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century, named for Princeton University's location in New Jersey, on Earth.

In 2367, the Princeton participated in the Battle of Wolf 359. It was destroyed, along with 38 other starships. When the USS Enterprise-D apprached the battle site shortly thereafter, the wreck of the Princeton was one of the first ships the Enterprise passed. Background

Images of this ship were first published in Star Trek Fact Files, subsequently the ship was clearly seen in the special features of the TNG season 3 DVD. Both Fact Files and the Encyclopedia incorrectly listed this vessel's registry as "NCC-58904" before being corrected by the DVD release.
