The USS Prometheus (NCC-71201) was a Nebula-class starship that served in the late 24th century.
In 2370, the Prometheus assisted Professor Gideon Seyetik in his attempt to re-ignite the dead star Epsilon 119. (DS9 episode: "Second Sight").
In 2378, the Prometheus headed to Starbase 12 at the time where the USS Dauntless (NCC-71879), USS Geronimo (NCC-69302), USS Excalibur (NCC-26517) and the soon to be launched USS Sovereign were docked (TNG video game: Bridge Commander) The reason for it being here is unknown
