In 2258, the Raleigh was near the Perseph Research Station, located in the Perseph star system.
On stardate 2258.61, Starfleet Command received a distress call from the Perseph Research Station and dispatched the USS Aegis from Deep Space Station K-7 to respond.
The Aegis successfully rescued the Raleigh from Klingon D5-class cruisers, which were attacking the system. (ST video game: Bridge Crew mission: "Prologue: Shakedown")
