The USS Red Cloud (NCC-63306) was an Akira-class heavy cruiser in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. (Decipher RPG modules: Starfleet Operations Manual, Starships)
Red Cloud was a participant of the Dominion War. In 2374, the Red Cloud fought in the Second Battle of Vulcanis and rescued over 250 personnel from Federation Alliance ships. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)
By 2381, the Red Cloud was under the command of Captain Rhea Kadani. In February of that year, the Red Cloud was among the forty ships that participated in the defense of Vulcan against the the Borg, and among the thirty-six vessels that were lost in the battle. (PROM novel: Fire with Fire)
