The USS Reliant (NCC-90200) was a 25th century Federation starship, a tier 5-rated Reliant-class advanced light cruiser[1] in Starfleet service by the 2400s[3] decade. (The Advanced Light Cruiser Bundle website: Escalation:, PIC episode: "The Star Gazer")
Service history and disposition[]

In the 23rd century, the name Reliant was carried the Miranda-class starship USS Reliant (NCC-1864), the lead ship of the 2270s-era Reliant-subclass[4]. The Reliant was destroyed in the famous Battle of the Mutara Nebula in 2285 although most of its Starfleet crew survived. Soon after, a replacement Reliant with the same name and NCC registry number entered service. (SOTL calendar: Ships of the Line 2012)

The Reliant in 2401.
In the year 2401, the USS Stargazer investigated a spatial anomaly discovered by the USS Avalon. When a massive Borg ship emerged from the anomaly, the Reliant was part of the armada Starfleet built up to reinforce the Stargazer and Admiral Jean-Luc Picard. When the Borg Queen boarded the Stargazer, the Borg Collective attempted to seize control of the fleet. Picard self destructed the Stargazer to stop the Borg and save the armada. The Reliant in 2410.
In the 2410s, the Reliant was one of three prototype starships developed by the Khitomer Alliance based on the Federation's tier 1 Miranda-class frigate. Its counterpart in the Klingon Empire was the QeHpu'-class advanced light battlecruiser, and the Deleth-class advanced light warbird in the Romulan Republic. These classes were the first to be equipped with the potential energy entangler emitter.
In 2410, the Reliant was classified as tier 6 advanced light cruiser. It served concurrently with the Miranda-class light cruiser Reliant II. (The Advanced Light Cruiser Bundle website: Escalation:)
From that year onwards, the Reliant represented its class on Starfleet Shipyards Operations interfaces at facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy, including Earth Spacedock and the Jenolan Dyson Sphere. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Escalation")
Khitomer Alliance flag officers deployed the Reliant in every quadrant of the galaxy as part of the four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
