The USS Reston (NCC-66874) was a 24th century Federation starship, a Nebula-class science vessel in Starfleet service in the 2370s decade. In 2373, the Reston became a Borg Collective ship. (ST - Seven Deadly Sins novella: Revenant)

Service history and disposition[]

USS Tonawanda

The assimilated Reston in 2380.

On stardate 50893.5[1] in the year 2373, the Reston took part in the battle against Borg cube 384[2] Earth during the Battle of Sector 001. The Borg overcame the crew and assimilated the starship.

In 2380 of the First Splinter[3] timeline, the partially assimilated Reston was found seemingly abandoned and adrift in the Korso Spanse by Nicholas Locarno and a band of privateers aboard the private vessel Celtic. Despite Locarno's warning, Captain Evan Walsh still ordered a boarding party over to the Reston. Once aboard Locarno attempted to reactivate the ship's computer core but was unsuccessful and the Celtic was destroyed soon after. Later, Locarno helped determine that the away team had been sent to the Reston to be turned into Borg and then allowed himself to be assimilated along with other members of the crew. (ST - Seven Deadly Sins novella: Revenant)
