The USS Scimitar was a 24th century Federation starship, a Saber-class light cruiser in Starfleet service in the 2370s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
Early in the year 2375, the Scimitar, alongside her sister ships USS Katana and USS Tulwar, assisted the USS Enterprise-E in destroying Sentok Nor and liberating Betazed from the Dominion. (TNG novel: The Battle of Betazed)
