For other uses, see Scipio.

The USS Scipio (NCC-4352) was a Larson-class Federation starship in service in the 23rd century. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual)

In the late 23rd century, the Scipio was sent to the Amal star system to enforce a Federation-negotiated truce between two warring planets. According to Alexander Soloviev's falsified record, he was serving as helmsman on the Scipio when an Amalian warship approached shortly after their arrival. Without waiting for orders, Soloviev fired upon and destroyed the other vessel, and later claimed that it had fired first. However, records showed that it had not, and that Soloviev was a liar. He was arrested and transported to the nearest starbase to face court martial. (FASA RPG module: Orion Ruse)

All of the above information is taken from Soloviev's falsified record as part of his cover story. Thus it is not clear how much of it is true, or if any of it is. The ship was only identified as the "USS Scipio", though other ships have this name.
