The Stargazer was in service in the 2370s decade, commanded by Captain Rackham.
In the year 2373, the Stargazer-A was part of a joint Starfleet-Klingon Defense Force task force sent to the Gamma Quadrant in response to an attack on the Bajoran space station Deep Space 9. (TNG - Unlimited comic: "Heart of Darkness", ST - Telepathy War comic: "Heart of Darkness")
