The USS Tashmaji (AGC-11-15) was a Ilthirin-class courier ship in service of the Federation Starfleet in the 22nd century.

History Edit

In April 2165, the Tashmaji was assigned to Captain Malcolm Reed's task force that went into Ware territory. Her job, along with the courier USS Zabathu, was to provide support for the USS Pioneer, while she conducted her investigations and the task force remained on the edge of the sector.

On May 26, the Tashmaji rendezvous with the Pioneer, and took on four passengers, who were liberated from a Ware trading post a few days earlier.

On June 4, she was part of a distraction with the USS Thelasa-vei and three Balduk defence ships, to soften up the Ware hub complex's defenses for the task force's main attack. They ambushed a Ware repair station and freed three people, whom with the Tashmaji sped away, while the remaining vessels engaged the arriving Ware battleship. In tandem with Zabathu, the Tashmaji continued to assist the task force by carrying rescued survivors out of the reach of Ware ships and back to their homeworlds. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Live by the Code)

In his annotations for "Uncertain Logic", author Christopher L. Bennett gives the registry number for the USS Tashmaji as "AGC-11-15". This was later confirmed in the appendix of Live by the Code.
