The USS Tauriel (NCC-1899) was a 23rd century Federation starship, an Archer-class scout[1] in Starfleet service around the 2260s and 2270s decades. The Tauriel had a different nacelle pylon configuration from the baseline. (SOTL calendar: 2023)

At some point in the 2270s, the USS Tauriel moved from Earth towards a traffic control space station. The Tauriel operated the planet's orbit alongside the USS Belknap, USS Sentinel and USS Hood. (SOTL calendar: 2023 November image: "Traffic: 49th and Coridan")
