The USS Theseus (NX-1887) was a 25th century Federation starship, a tier 6-rated Theseus-class miracle worker destroyer prototype in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Unraveled: Command the Theseus from IDW!)
Service history[]
The Theseus was named after the modular ship USS Theseus (NX-1987) commissioned by Captain Montgomery Scott in the 2370s. Scott's ship was commanded by Captain Benjamin Sisko during a classified mission and underwent further modifications during its voyage.
Starfleet spent time reverse-engineering the technologies of Scott's Theseus. By the year 2411, enough technologies could be replicated to manufacture the new Theseus.
This Theseus carried the experimental NX registry number prefix and was the first starship equipped with a system that allowed it to fire brancher crystal fragments. This system became a standard of the Theseus class. (STO website: Unraveled: Command the Theseus from IDW!)
The Theseus and its sister ship, the USS Lanzing-Kelly, entered service sometime after redemption of C'qer and Wesley Crusher (mirror)[1], and the Lukari 5th Reckoning.[2] (STO website: Unraveled: Ten Forward Weekly)
Flag officers of the Khitomer Alliance could deploy the USS Theseus alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
