The USS Tirpitz was a Federation Sovereign-class battleship starship in Starfleet service in the 24th century. (TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)

The Tirpitz was destroyed over Deneva by the Borg in 2381 during the Borg Invasion of 2381. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)

The ship was most likely named after German admiral Alfred von TirpitzWP.
