Changes: USS Tobias

The USS Tobias was an Oberth-class starship under the command of Commander Christine MacDonald. In the early 2370s, she was assigned to assist in the development of a cure for a strange and lethal virus that was ravaging plant life throughout the Federation.

The ship assisted in the efforts of Captain James T Kirk in fighting the virus and was eventually successful. After the success of this mission, Commander MacDonald was promoted to Captain. She was later destroyed during the Dominion War, although many of the crew under MacDonald survived, including Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Andrea M'Benga.

Primarily featured in Star Trek: Avenger, but later mentioned in Star Trek: Dark Victory and Star Trek: Preserver.
