Service history[]
On stardate 58901.5 in the year 2381, the Toronto ferried Admiral Vassery to Ferenginar, where the ship shared its orbit with the California-class starrship USS Cerritos. The admiral and Captain Carol Freeman of the Cerritos entered negotiations about the Ferengi Alliance's application to become Federation members in the lounge off the bridge aboard the Toronto. Grand Nagus Rom and his wife, First Clerk Leeta, joined the lounge as well before negotiations moved to the Nagal Residence on the planet. (LD episode: "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place")
