The USS Valdres (NCC-94900) was a 25th century Federation starship, a tier 6-rated Valdres-class command strike wing escort and prototype of its class, in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Ascension: Federation Command Carrier Bundle!)
Service history and disposition[]

Starfleet commissioned the Valdres- and Seneca-classes together in the year 2411, following the end of the Klingon Civil War of 2411[3] and during Terran Emperor Wesley Crusher's grab for the Other. The USS Valdres and the USS Seneca represented modern iterations of legacy starship types. The Valdres was a sleeker counterpart of the 24th century Norway-class.
The hangar bays of the Valdres were equipped with Valkyrie-class fighters. Additional systems first fitted on the USS Valdres were the experimental weapon Moljnir, a heavy-pulsed tractor beam and the ability to use tractor beams to create constructive/destructive interference during combat. Pioneered aboard the Valdres, these systems became standard for the Valdres class and contemporary Norway-class starships. (STO website: Ascension: Federation Command Carrier Bundle!)
From that year onward, the Valdres represented its class on Starfleet Shipyards Operations interfaces in Khitomer Alliance shipyard facilities across the galaxy. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
