The USS Valletta was a 24th century Federation starship, an Istanbul-class transport in service to Starfleet in the 2370s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2374, the Valletta was sent to evacuate the cultural observation post on planet Coroticus III ahead of a Dominion occupation force. The Valletta was forced by Jem'Hadar ships to withdraw from the planet and abandon the final member of the observation team, Lieutenant Saed Squire. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)
