USS Vesta was a Ceres-class starship that served in the Federation Starfleet in its early years in the 22nd century.
History[]
Although the Vesta suffered from numerous construction setbacks, it was nearing completion in Febuary, 2166, when newly promoted Captain Caroline Paris was given command of the vessel. However, a month and a half later Captain Paris was reassigned for a new command, leaving the Vesta still unfinished, but close to solving her problems.
