The USS Victorious was a Federation starship in service in the 23rd century.
History[]
With the USS Enterprise's five-year mission coming to an end in 2270, Captain James T. Kirk requested command of the Victorious once the Enterprise returned to Earth. His request was held-up by Vice Admiral Lori Ciana who wanted Kirk to work with her at Starfleet Headquarters. (TOS novel: The Lost Years)
Once the Enterprise returned to Earth, Lieutenant Jonathon Stanger transferred to the Victorious to serve as the new chief of security, following the recommendation of Lieutenant Commander Ingrit Tomson. (TOS novel: The Lost Years)
