For other uses, see Yamato.

The USS Yamato (NCC-92199) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Yamato-class dreadnought cruiser in Starfleet service from the 2400s decade. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Service history and disposition[]

The Yamato class combined the Andromeda-class exploration cruiser design launched in 2409[1] with the configuration of the Galaxy X-class dreadnought. In the late 24th century, a previous Yamato[2] had undergone the refit from Galaxy-class to dreadnought. (STO Issue 03: "U.S.S. Andromeda NCC-92100", TNG video game: Birth of the Federation)

Unusual for its type, the Yamato carried a unique registry number and did not share the common NCC-170147 with other Starfleet and mirror universe Imperial Starfleet dreadnoughts. (STO - Call to Arms mission: "Mirror Universe Incursion")

The USS Yamato could be deployed by the admiralty for assignments with other ships. (STO mission: "New Dawn" game mechanic: "Admiralty System")

In Starfleet Shipyards Operations shipyard interfaces, the Yamato visually represented its class from the year 2409 onwards. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
